Dazu gehören die Achtung von Menschenrechten sowie der Schutz der Umwelt entlang globaler Wertschöpfungsketten. Das Hinweisgeberschutzgesetz (HinSchG) ist am 2. Juli 2023 in Kraft getreten!Es soll den Schutz hinweisgebender Personen und sonstiger von einer Meldung betroffener Personen sicherstellen. Mit dem Gesetz wird die Whistleblower-Richtlinie der EU in deutsches Recht umgesetzt.Das HinSchG bezieht sich auf Whistleblowing im beruflichen Kontext. Dabei geht es um die Bereitstellung von Meldewegen für Arbeitnehmer sowie den Schutz von Hinweisgebern vor arbeitsrechtlichen Konsequenzen. Betroffen sind zunächst folgende Unternehmen: Arbeitgeber mit 50 – 249 Beschäftigten sind verpflichtet, bis zum 17. Dezember 2023 interne Meldestellen einzurichten.Für Arbeitgeber mit mindestens 250 Beschäftigten gilt diese Pflicht bereits ab dem 2.
