This two-day course has been designed to enable delegates to gain a full understanding of the general principles of the Standard and how to comply with the requirements. Delegates will also gain an understanding of what to expect during the process of certification, and actions needed prior to, during and after the audit.PrerequisitesKnowledge of HACCP and basic food safety system principles, good manufacturing practices is recommended.   Assessment:At the end of the course, learners must take a 25-question exam. Pass mark 60%

This 5-day in-depth course will provide an understanding of the Standard protocol, requirements and how to audit effectively. You will gain an in-depth guide to the requirements of the Standard, and learn how to undertake a BRC Global Standards audit, including effective planning, conducting and reporting of the audit. You will develop and practice auditing techniques to include auditor competency skills required of GFSI scheme auditors.PREQUISITESq   Learners must have prior working knowledge of quality management systems and auditing within the relevant manufacturing sector, and have completed a HACCP course of at least two days’ duration.q   Successful completion of this course, including the exam, forms part of the training necessary to become a BRC Global Standards auditor. The steps necessary to complete your training must be arranged with a BRC Global Standards-approved certification body.

This course is to enable to undertake internal audits and prepare companies for third party audits. It’s delivered via a series of workshop-led discussions, presentations and an interactive case study. During the live case study, you will be given feedback and support to enable you to carry out an audit at your own workplace.PRE-REQUISITE An understanding and working knowledge of Quality Management Systems within the relevant manufacturing / processing environment would be a distinct advantage but is not essential.
