COURSE AIMThe aim of the APQP4Wind Management Awareness Refresher training course is:To provide learners with a refreshed understanding of the management role in the APQP4Wind processTo provide learners with a refreshed understanding of the APQP4Wind framework, requirements and toolsTo enable learners to reflect on how APQP4Wind can be successfully implemented and thereby mitigate risk and improve value creation.PRIOR KNOWLEDGETo attend this course it is a requirement that learners have an “APQP4Wind Management Awareness training certificate”.CONSENT FOR PERSONAL DATA TO BE FORWARDED TO APQP4WINDBy enrolling on this course you consent to SGS forwarding your name, position, company name, country of origin, and email address to the APQP4Wind Secretariat, which uses the data to issue the training certificate and optional newsletters.Note: Learners may unsubscribe from the APQP4Wind newsletters at any time using the link found at the bottom of the newsletter email.COURSE CERTIFICATIONOnce learners have completed the APQP4Wind Management Awareness - Refresher training course and passed the examination, they will receive a certificate approved by the APQP4Wind Secretariat. The certificate will be valid for a period of four years from the date of the examination.Learners who do not pass the examination and have been in attendance for the full duration of the course will be allowed to re-sit the examination a maximum of twice within 12 months of the end date of the first examination. Learners who fail the second re-sit will be required to take the entire course.

This course is certificated by the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) and International Register of Certificated Auditors (CQI / IRCA); Course Certification Number, 2142 – PR 366.This course consists of 10 VILT sessions and the final examination.Learners who successfully complete this programme may be eligible to apply for certification by the CQI / IRCA as an auditor, lead auditor or internal auditor within five years of course completion.Other requirements for certification are outlined in this manual and described on the CQI / IRCA website www.quality.org. 

This training introduces you to management responsibilities under ISO Management System Standards.COURSE CONTENTOverview of ISO Standards, Annex SL standardization, and the PDCA process for continual improvement.Key management responsibilities in Clause 5 (Leadership) and Clause 9 (Performance Evaluation).COURSE CERTIFICATION:On completion of this course:The SGS certificate is available to download once you have achieved a pass mark of 80% or more in the final assessment which completes this course.You have 12 months access to this course, effective from the date of purchase.

COURSE CONTENT Introduction to energy management, background and relationship with other management system standards High level framework, clauses, process approach and risk-based thinking Process evaluation and improvement to control and reduce undesired effects from internal and external issues Planning for risk to ensure the management system will achieve its objectives Leadership commitment and responsibilities Support and what’s needed for the management system to operate effectively Performance review and monitoring to identify any actions needed for the correction and continual improvement of the management system Completion criteria: learners will be required to complete the entire course and gain a pass mark of 80% or more in the final assessment.   Upon successful completion learners will be able to download a certificate of completion. You will be granted 12 months access to this course, effective from the date of purchase.
