RIIWHS204E - Work Safely at Heights Refresher

This course is suitable for anyone working in an operational role that requires them to perform work at heights and refresh their skills and knowledge.

Pre-Requisites:

Participants must have successfully completed and hold a current Statement of Attainment for the required unit of competency or their equivalents issued within the last three years. This evidence must be provided when making a booking request. Evidence of pre-requisite must be emailed through to au.sgsacademy@sgs.com for verification. If pre-requisite requirements cannot be supplied, please book into the full Working at Heights course.

LLN Requirements:

Participants should have language, literacy and numeracy skills at the level required to read, complete, interpret and communicate workplace documentation relevant to working at heights. This includes entry permits, equipment checklists and risk assessments. If you have language, literacy or numeracy difficulty or other special needs, please inform our training support staff prior to enrolling so they can speak with you about our available support services.

Physical Requirements:

Participants must have the physical capacity to successfully complete practical tasks ranging from donning a fall arrest harness to climbing ladder systems. Learners must be free from injury and confident to participate in the practical component of training.

Dress code:

Participants are required to wear clean clothing appropriate for the workplace, and enclosed shoes.
