Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Understand the context of the cold chain industry and its relevant stakeholders.
- Define the principes of leadership and commitment as they apply to a CCMS.
- Plan for the identification and mitigation of cold chain hazards and risks.
- Manage the support functions necessary for a CCMS, which includes competence, communication, and documented information.
- Implement operational controls, performance evaluation, and continual improvement processes within a CCMS.
- Implement a CCP-focused framework for all cold chain operations.
- Define and execute a tiered, policy-driven decision-making and escalation protocol for cold chain breaches.
PRIOR KNOWLEDGE
You are expected to have:
- An introductory level of knowledge of management systems would be beneficial.
- A background in the cold chain supply, distribution and retail sector.
