After the training you will be able to prepare, conduct and follow up on an internal social audit. You will learn about the requirements of social standards and be able to audit them on site. The criteria for the audit are based on internationally recognized reference documents, such as the core labor standards of the International Labor Organization and other recognized standards, such as SA8000 and ISO 19011.   The audit of social standards is carried out through the three central elements participants learn in the training: a production tour, interviews with employees and document review.

Up to 80% of a product’s environmental impact is determined during the design phase. With the introduction of the EU Ecodesign Regulation for Sustainable Products (ESPR – EU 2024/1781) and the Digital Product Passport (DPP), the role of technologists and product developers is becoming increasingly critical.This practical training provides you with the knowledge and tools to design sustainable, circular and efficient products, while ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements. You will learn how to strategically leverage the Digital Product Passport and apply modern design methodologies to reduce environmental impact and improve product lifecycle performance.The course focuses on actionable approaches that help you integrate sustainability, resource efficiency and circular economy principles directly into your product development processes.

The module is built around case studies and practical exercises.

Social audits are becoming increasingly important, and companies must take social responsibility. This training will provide you with all the basics on the topic of social audits - their definition, objectives, content, etc. The training module also serves as preparation for SOC - Module 2, Internal Auditor in social systems.
