Upon successful completion of the course requirements, a Photo ID Induction Card valid for 5 years and a Statement of Attainment will be issued for:

- RIIGOV201E Comply with site work processes/procedures
- RIIRIS201E Conduct local risk control
- RIICOM201E Communicate in the workplace
- RIIERR302E Respond to local emergencies and incidents
Nationally recognised training delivered by SGS Australia Pty Ltd (RTO# 2646)
Recertification:
A refresher must be completed every 5 years.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Due to the duration and purpose of this course, Recognition of Prior Learning is not available. Offering RPL would introduce a financial disadvantage and unnecessary administrative complexity which can extend your assessment process and time to be longer than the course duration. To maintain uniform standards and ensure competency in critical safety skills, all Learners are required to complete the full training and assessment. Please contact us for further information.
Who This Course Is For
This course is for any person requiring a Standard 11 surface induction to access a mine site in Queensland.
NOTE: Each mine site may have its own induction requirements. Please check with the mine site you will be working at before enrolling in this course.
Pre-Requisites:
There are no prerequisite units for this course.
LLN Requirements:
Language, literacy and numeracy skills are required at a level to:
- Read, complete, interpret and communicate workplace documentation
- Use of basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Using everyday language to provide information and maintain conversations in site-based contexts
- Listening for relevant information in oral texts in site-based contexts
Participants with a language, literacy and/or numeracy difficulty or other special needs should inform our training support staff prior to enrolling to discuss our support services if required.
Physical Requirements:
Participants must have the physical capacity to perform at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted single rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) (5 cycles of both compressions and ventilations) on an adult resuscitation manikin placed on the floor.
Dress code:
Participants are required to wear clean clothing appropriate for the workplace, and enclosed shoes.

Assessment
This course includes the following competency-based assessments:
- Complete a Theory Assessment with multiple choice and short answer questions
- Complete a Team Assessment on Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment.
- Complete a Take 5
- Complete 3 Safety Tags
- Contribute to Pre-Start Meetings
- Complete a Fire Extinguisher inspection
- Respond to two First Aid incidents; including where you must perform at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted single rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) (5 cycles of both compressions and ventilations) on an adult resuscitation manikin placed on the floor.
