- Managers, consultants and auditors, with prior knowledge of the ISO/IEC 27001/27002 that want to comprehend the new, changed security controls present in the ISO/IEC 27002:2022, and their corresponding attributes.
NOTE: Participants are required to obtain a copy of the ISO/IEC 27002:2022 Information Security, Cybersecurity and Privacy Protection – Information Security Controls. Participants should familiarise themselves with the standard prior to attending the training course.

- ISO/IEC 27002:2022 overview of changes.
- Understanding clause 5 controls in treating risks, governance and the use of cloud services, including the relationship to other ISO/IEC standards.
- Clauses 6 controls relating to risks related to physical objects.
- Clause 8 and the purpose of the new controls in treating risks relating to technology.
Prior Knowledge:
It will benefit participants if they have knowledge of the following principles and concepts:
- ISO/IEC 27002:2013 Information Security Controls.
- ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management System Implementation and Maintenance.
- Maintenance of information security, compliance, risk, or governance in an organisation.
