Pre-Requisite:
This course is a pre-requisite to working as a GHG Verifier or Validator in a Verification or Validation Team. To become a Lead Verifier or Validator, you must work on verification and validation assignments under supervision to gain sufficient experience and expertise.
About this course
This training course (consisting of four Modules) has been developed by SGS to provide practitioners with the skills and knowledge necessary to undertake a verification of a greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory developed in accordance with ISO 14064-1:2019 using the verification standard ISO 14064-3:2019.
Module Three provides the necessary knowledge to act as a Verifier and Validator and perform a GHG inventory verification or a project validation according to ISO 14064-3, ISO 14065 and ISO 14066.
Module Four provides an introduction to GHG Verification and Validation, an understanding of Verification and Validation activities and an introduction to Verification and Validation statements.
