ISO 14067 Carbon Footprint of Products: Requirements & Guidelines for Quantification & Communication Course allows the participants to understand how to implement a systematic framework for carbon footprint of products (CFP) study in which organizations drive continual improvement, using a risk-based approach. The course would also help internal and external auditors to understand important aspects in communication and verification of a CFP study.ISO 14067 builds largely on the existing ISO standards which specifies principles, requirements and guidelines for the quantification and communication of the carbon footprint of a product (CFP).Customers, consumers and shareholders are increasingly concerned with the environmental impact of the activities, products and services they are engaged in. This may be seen as a challenge, but it is also an opportunity. Carbon footprint verification from ISO 14067 enables organizations to demonstrate environmental responsibility, stand out from the competitions and demonstrate to the existing and potential customers of its commitment. This Standard specifies GHG Validation and Verification principles together with specific requirements and provides guidance for verifying and validating greenhouse gas (GHG) statements. It is applicable to organization, project and product GHG statements. The course provides specific examples of how the validation and verification approaches are applied to GHG inventories, project and carbon footprints of products that conform with ISO 14064-1 and 14064-2 and ISO 14067 Standards. The ISO 14064 family of standards is GHG programme neutral. If a GHG programme is applicable, requirements of that GHG programme are additional to the requirements of the ISO 14064 family of standards.
