What you'll learn
This module provides an introduction to the GHG emission calculation training, including the importance of Scope 1, 2, 3 emissions within the ISO 14064-1 framework. Overview of the basic Corporate GHG accounting following the ISO 14064-1. And explains why climate change is an important business issue; explains the difference between scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions; and identifies the value of the scope 1,2, 3 GHG accounting.
Who This Course Is For
Anyone with an interest in carbon management, in particular GHG inventory managers, corporate environmental and sustainability managers, investors and auditors. For example, a client says he wants his company to be “carbon neutral” and you are asked to help them understand their carbon footprint. This course will enable you to intelligently address the issues necessary to assess this organization’s GHG emissions.
