Who This Course Is For
Professional in sustainability, ESG, compliance, regulatory affairs, supply chain, export sales and supplier management teams in Malaysian companies that are exporting to the EU or supplying EUbound value chains across EUDR-relevant sectors including palm oil, rubber, timber/wood products, cocoa, coffee, soy, cattle and derived products.
About this course
The European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) is reshaping access to the European market, and Malaysian exporters that succeed will be those that can demonstrate compliance with confidence—not just make sustainability claims.
EUDR introduces new expectations for companies exporting to the EU, requiring robust evidence that products are deforestation-free, legally produced, and fully traceable to their origin. For businesses involved in palm oil, rubber, timber, cocoa, coffee, soy, cattle and related products, compliance extends beyond supplier declarations to include geolocation data, supply chain transparency, risk assessment and documented due diligence.
With the Regulation taking effect from 30 December 2026 for large and medium-sized companies and 30 June 2027 for micro and small enterprises, organizations must begin preparing now to address compliance gaps and meet growing customer expectations.
