The programme aims to provide delegates with the knowledge and ability to
- Discuss the processes needed in planning, preparation, auditing, reporting and followup
- Demonstrate the process based auditing in meeting the quality management system requirements
- Report audit findings to have balance summary status of the quality management system
- Review effectiveness of corrective action(s) taken on audit findings to ensure that no recurrence of similar non-conformance(s).

Personnel appointed to be involved in audits, appointed Internal Auditors or who would like to understand process based auditing of quality management system.
Prior ISO 9001:2026 Requirements knowledge is required for this course.
About this course
Internal auditing is fundamental to any improvement initiative. The ISO 9001:2026 standard requires an organisation conduct internal audits to determine the effectiveness of its quality management system.
This course is designed to increase the understanding of process based auditing techniques, risk-based thinking and help internal auditors to accurately interpret and audit against the ISO 9001:2026 requirements for improvement.
Through practical workshop, case studies and role-play, delegate will gain the knowledge and skills to plan, conduct, report audit findings including followup audit on corrective actions taken so as to ensure continual improvement.
