The objective of this course is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills required to perform an internal audit of part of a QMS based on ISO 9001:2026 (or equivalent), report on the effective implementation and maintenance of the management system in accordance with ISO 19011:2026 and to contribute to the continual improvement of the management system.The course refers to ISO 9001:2026 as the management system standard that provides the context for an internal audit. However, this course does not address ISO 9001:2026 in detail.Learners who successfully complete this ISO 9001:2026 (QMS) Internal Auditor Training course (within the five years before making an application to become a certificated auditor) will satisfy part of the training requirements for initial certification as a certified IRCA QMS Internal Auditor.
