What you'll learn
- I will learn the principles applicable in understanding and differentiating between incident ‘grades’, the purpose of investigations and the obligations of the employer and employee in the event of a workplace incident.
- I will be able to investigate the direct and indirect causes and consequences of incidents (examined through a loss causation model) and understand the ratios between minor and major reported injury incidents in the workplace (as analysed by Frank Bird).
- I will explore the four steps in the sequence of incidents, which will assist me in managing and controlling all probable or resultant losses.
- I will be able to interpret the reporting requirements and steps to follow when investigating incidents in the workplace.

Die Normenreihe IEC 61010 legt die Sicherheitsanforderungen für elektrische Mess-, Steuer-, Regel- und Laborgeräte fest. Sie besteht aus einem allgemeinen Teil 1 (IEC 61010-1) und wird für bestimmte Arten von Geräten durch Anforderungen mehrerer spezieller Teile 2 (IEC 61010-x-x) ergänzt oder abgeändert. Während die IEC Normen häufig Grundlage für CB Zertifizierungen sind, ist die Europäische Version (EN 61010) in dem im Amtsblatt der EU (engl.: „official journal“) veröffentlichten Ausgabestand die Basis für die CE Konformitätserklärung. Im Seminar erläutern wir Ihnen die erforderlichen Prüfungen und Bewertungen der elektrischen Sicherheit, einschließlich der korrekten Normen-Interpretation. Grundlegende Begriffe werden dabei ebenso erklärt, wie typische Fehler, die bei der Prüfung und Zertifizierung gemacht werden. Weiterhin stellen wir aktuelle und künftige Ausgabestände der IEC und EN Normen vor. Mit dem Verständnis der aktuellen normativen Anforderungen an Ihre Produkte vermeiden Sie Verzögerungen bei der Produkteinführung und schaffen die Grundlagen für den Markteintritt. Mit Blick auf anstehende Änderungen der Normen sind Sie in der Lage produktspezifisch die richtigen strategischen Entscheidungen zu treffen und stellen auch künftig die Konformität Ihrer Produkte sicher.
