Die 4. Edition der EN 60601-1-2 ist nun bereits seit 31.12.2018 verpflichtend und die Edition 4.1 als EN 60601-1-2:2015 + A1:2021 veröffentlicht. Die Unterschiede sowie die zu erwartende verpflichtende Anwendung der neuen Ausgabe sind Teile des Workshops. Ebenso Informationen zum Testplan sowie dem Risikomanagement mit Unterstützung des Leitfadens nach IEC TS 60601-4-6 sowie der Performance-Betrachtung nach IEC TS 60601-4-2 im Gegensatz bzw. zusätzlich zu Basic Safety und Essential Performance.Zu betrachten ist weiterhin die Frage nach der möglichen Beeinflussung von Medizingeräten durch die neue Funk-Technologie mit 5G. FDA stellt hier bereits vielfach die Fragen nach entsprechenden Bewertungen für einzelne Medizinprodukte. Hier ist u.a. auch der Status des Normenentwurfes für die IEC 61000-4-41 als möglicher Basisstandard für ein entsprechen-des Prüfverfahren im Auge zu behalten. Die Normung für Medizingeräte arbeitet weiterhin bereits intensiv daran, einen bergreifenden normativen Schritt zu realisieren. In die künftige IEC 60601-1 Ed 4 soll die Edition 5 der IEC 60601-1-2 als separater Abschnitt direkt integriert werden. Als neue Anforderungen im Themenkreis der EMV werden u.a. auch Anforderungen bzgl. EMF (Elektromagnetische Felder) sowie Wireless Coexistence (Funktionalität/Beeinflussung der Funksysteme untereinander) aufgenommen werden. Die CISPR 11 ist innerhalb der IEC 60601-1-2 die normative Basis für die Messverfahren und Grenzwerte der Emissions-Messungen. Nachdem in CISPR 11:2024 Grenzwerte für den GHz-Bereich der Radiated Emission sowie auch Conducted Emission für z.B. LAN-Schnittstellen enthalten sind, wird das auch in den künftigen Anforderungen der IEC 60601-1-2 gefordert sein.
